Terms of Use
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Plain-language terms for Tobin Science digital products, including Science Quest, Earth Quest, Biome Quest, 1v1 Science, and Review Quest. Buying or using a product means you agree to these.
Your license: one teacher, all their classes, forever
- A purchase licenses one teacher to use the product with all of their own class periods, year after year. There is no subscription and no renewal for one-time purchases.
- Class links and access codes are for your students. Please don't share them with other teachers, other schools, or the public — colleagues can purchase their own license.
- You may not resell, re-host, copy, or redistribute any product or its contents.
Payments & refunds
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in USD; sales tax is added where required by law.
- All sales are final on digital goods. That's exactly why we offer free trials and free-to-try content — please try before you buy.
Subscriptions (The Den)
Canceling is self-serve and as easy as subscribing: open your Den dashboard → Manage billing → cancel. You keep access through the period you've paid for, no partial-period refunds, and your class data is preserved so resubscribing restores everything. A failed renewal gets a 14-day grace period before access pauses.
Subscriptions to the Science Hub and Math Hub are managed the same self-serve way from your hub account page. Not sure which subscription is on your card? See Manage or cancel a subscription, which lists every Tobin Science product, its price, and where to cancel it.
Free trials
Free trials (such as the Review Quest sample unit) are for evaluation by one teacher, are limited in duration or scope, and may not be re-registered repeatedly to avoid purchasing. Purchases made during or after a trial keep everything you and your students started.
What you can count on from us
- Purchased products include future improvements free — when we fix or upgrade a unit, your class links serve the new version automatically.
- We aim to keep everything online and working all school year. If we ever discontinue a hosted product, we'll give buyers reasonable notice and a way to keep what they paid for.
- Student privacy comes first — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what we do and don't collect.
Fair use of the service
Don't attempt to break, overload, copy, or reverse-engineer the service or use it in a way that harms other users. We may pause access that appears automated, abusive, or far outside a single-teacher license, and we'll always try to reach you first.
